I recently moved into the world of “nutrition extraction”
I will post my thoughts on the Nutribullet in the next post, for now a recipe that packs in nutrition and loads of fiber for relatively few calories. You could follow this with your current blender or smoothie maker but let me tell you, the Nutribullet will change your life – or at least or kitchen habits. This is a super way to get in more veg and more fiber. Try it out as a breakfast, lunch or snack if you are looking to keep your calories down without being hungry.
- 2 medium guava
- 1 Tbsp flaxseed
- 1 Tbsp rolled oats
- 40 g or 2 x granadilla (passion fruit) pulp
- 30 g (1 cup) baby spinach
- 125 ml water
Pop it all in your blender and give it a whizz. In the Nutribullet this takes all of 20 seconds.

- 7.2 g protein
- 17.6 g carbohydrate
- 5.4 g fat
- 10.2 g fiber
